A Chinese technology company has developed mobile phones that have strong technology features for parents, aiming to tap the booming electronic market for the elderly.

Halove (Hangzhou) Technology Co Ltd, based in Zhejiang province, released its first version of mobile phones, Halove H1, in early December in Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang, adding it will also develop an online platform that will focus on family relations.

The Halove H1 is installed with a self-developed smart emotional interactive operation system that uses voice technology to enable the elderly to connect with their children.

"In an era of fast-changing mobile internet, parents should not be neglected," said Shao Chenxi, founder of Halove (Hangzhou) Technology.

The mobile phone can also be used with a wrist band, which is well enabled to track health condition of the users.

"The phone can be used by parents to interact with their children, share photos and videos and text and voice messages, all of which help in breaking the age gap," said Shao.

Halove (Hangzhou) Technology has raised more than 100 million yuan in angel investment, according to Shao.

"We will develop more electronic products and services to help the elderly connect easily with modern technologies," added Shao.
