Hangzhou International Design Week, a fashion party full of creative and attractive designs, took place on Dec 24 to bring fun to Hangzhou residents at the end of 2016.
The art exhibition, aimed to provide a platform for local artists and designers to have cultural exchanges, was themed as "Make Hangzhou Seen". Design products will continue to be displayed in 12 pavilions in the building of Lixing Mall on Zhongshan South Road until Jan 3. With free access, visitors can enjoy the items and themed activities.
The design week rekindled the G20 Hangzhou Summit through a display of G20 invitation letters and banquet tableware with Chinese characteristics. Another area gathered the winning works of the Red Star Design Award, the highest industrial design award in China. A collection of original designs from Hangzhou designers is also displayed at a specific pavilion to show the ordinary but exquisite life.
