He had been engaged in the wholesale clothing business for 10 years, which provided an early accumulation of capital. He spent that whole year looking for a place to set up a new business. He went to Dubai, the trading capital of the Middle East and North Africa, then to Iran as well as other European countries. But none were satisfactory for new business.
