An attractive show was staged upon the terraced fields of Lishantou village in Longquan, Zhejiang province on March 22, showcasing women parading in "qipao" (traditional Chinese dresses) among rapeseed flowers.    

Nearly 500 "qipao" enthusiasts from Wenzhou, Lishui and other Zhejiang cities gathered in the flower-covered fields to enjoy the vibrant natural scenery and the charming colorfully decorated dresses. Despite the drizzling rain, the fields remained cheerful.

Along with the "qipao" show, a photography contest was also held. Shutterbugs captured the picturesque scenery, while folk artists presented traditional songs and artifacts for visitors, providing a lovely experience of the local culture.      

Longquan is striving to promote its natural scenery, idyllic life, farm work and folk customs to enliven its tourism industry. The "qipao" show is one such effort, and several other events are planned for the future to carry forward the rural culture.

Lishantou village was only the first stop for this year's series of cultural activities. With its beautiful natural landscape, the village has been gradually growing into a travel destination for artists and photographers.
