Forty-eight major projects with a total investment of 154.8 billion yuan ($23.43 billion) were successfully signed at the plenary, reflecting the province's ambition in attracting investment and talent. An investment platform initiated by Zhejiang entrepreneurs was announced to be set up as well.

A group of entrepreneurs including Wang Jianyi, founder of Futong Group, read out a declaration on behalf of their counterparts. The declaration written in classical Chinese calls on all Zhejiang businesspeople to stick to innovation, pursue higher goals and serve the country.
