East China's Zhejiang province has yielded fruitful results in promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. The good climate and preferential policies for building startups and doing innovative work here have injected vitality into market players.

Statistics from the provincial administration for market regulation showed that by the end of March, there were 6.752 million market entities in Zhejiang, up 12.7 percent year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2019 alone, there were 340,000 newly registered market entities in the East China province, a year-on-year growth of 39.6 percent. Nowadays, around one out of every nine people in the province is a business owner and one out of 25 runs a company.
