An international exchange activity, under the slogan "Shaking Hands with the World·I Love Wenzhou", has been launched in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, with the aim of showcasing the city's beauty to the world.

Approximately 100 foreigners are expected to take part in the activity, which is scheduled to run until October. They will be taken to visit some landmarks in the city, experience traditional culture, taste local delicacies and catch the development of Wenzhou with their eyes and cameras.

The videos made by participants will be posted on social media platforms including Tik Tok and Facebook in the hope of more people getting to know Wenzhou.

A South African pediatrician whose Chinese name is Xin Chengle has been studying and working in Wenzhou for eight years. He said he's posted many photos of Wenzhou on his Facebook page, expecting to arouse his friends' interest in the city.
