Mount Putuo

Mount Putuo is a small island in Zhoushan Archipelago consisting of 1,390 islands in total. It covers an area of 12.93 square km, and is one of Buddhism's Four Sanctuary Mountains in China. The island has been renowned for the shrine of Guanyin Bodhisattva since ancient times, and enjoys a reputation as being a "Buddhist World amidst Sea and Sky".
