President Xi Jinping visited a village in Anji county of East China's Zhejiang province on Monday, the second day of his inspection tour to the province.
At the Yucun village of Tianhuangping township, Xi talked with the villagers and learned about the great changes that have taken place in the past years since they practiced environmental protection and green development.
He then traveled to the county's civil dispute mediation center and learned about the mediation work at the grassroots level.
On Sunday, Xi inspected an industrial park in Ningbo of East China's Zhejiang province which produces high-end auto parts and molds.
He also visited the Chuanshan port area of the Ningbo-Zhoushan Port, one of the world's top container ports, which handled about 1.12 billion tonnes of cargo in 2019 on Sunday.
