An online export fair dedicated to Portugal is currently being held in Zhejiang province.
The 15-day fair is being held by the commerce department of Zhejiang and focuses on auto parts exports. It will end on April 23.
The commerce department invited 80 Portuguese companies and 100 domestic companies to negotiate trade online during the event.
The fair is the second of the 2020 Zhejiang Online Export Fair Series, which was initiated by the commerce department to boost foreign trade during the COVID-19 epidemic. The department plans to hold more than 50 such fairs in the first half of 2020. The previous fair dedicated to exporting textile products to Vietnam saw letters of intent worth $145 million signed.
