Governor of Zhejiang commends youth entrepreneurship

"Young people are the most vigorous and innovative among all Zhejiang entrepreneurs. They have the potential to play a major role in promoting Zhejiang's digitalization and economic development," said Yuan Jiajun, governor of Zhejiang province, when inspecting startups established by young Zhejiang entrepreneurs in Hangzhou on May 6.
"I hope young entrepreneurs will stick to their ideals and beliefs, hone their skills and help bring about digitalization reforms which will contribute to the province's economic growth," Yuan said.
Yuan inspected Yitu Medical Tech Co, Tuya Information Tech Co, and Getui Internet Tech Co, learning about their development and latest high-tech products in the process.

The companies were established by people born in the 80s and are now leaders in big data, internet of things, artificial intelligence and intelligent medical care.
Yuan commended the contributions they made to the nation's control of the COVID-19 epidemic and expressed confidence in their ability to contribute more to the province.
Yuan encouraged young entrepreneurs to make better use of digital technologies, keep pursuing innovation, actively seize opportunities and adopt global perspectives, and urged all government departments to improve services for companies to help young entrepreneurs succeed.
