Zhejiang University Press will hold a Belt and Road-themed book exhibition as a prelude to the 2020 Silk Road Week, which is set to be held in Hangzhou from June 19 to 25.
The book exhibition will start on May 24 and run for one month. It has six different sections themed around silk, calligraphy, paintings of the Dunhuang Grottoes, Liangzhu civilization, the economy, and technology.
Each section will feature a number of related books. Zhao Feng, dean of the China Silk Museum, Guo Guoliang, vice-dean of the Chinese Academy of Translation and Translation Studies of Zhejiang University, and Chai Jianhong, a Dunhuang researcher, will be invited to talk with participants over the internet.
Zhejiang University Press has developed partnerships with a number of researchers and think tanks specializing in the Belt and Road Initiative, and has published many books on the topic.
In 2019, the press published nearly 100 different types of books themed around the Belt and Road Initiative.
