The Zhejiang Museum recently held a series of cultural activities at its Wenlange Library to promote traditional Chinese culture and celebrate the upcoming National Cultural and Natural Legacy Day, which falls on the second Saturday of June every year.
At the event, visitors were given the chance to enjoy a traditional Chinese dance and a traditional Chinese clothing show and learn about traditional Chinese embroidery and fan-making.

This is the first nighttime activity the museum has held this year and the first traditional Chinese clothing show to ever be held at the museum.
The Wenlange Library, built in 1784, is a key cultural relic site under State protection. It is also the best preserved piece of royal garden architecture in Hangzhou and an important part of the West Lake scenic spot.
Chen Shuihua, director of the museum, expressed hope that people will appreciate the beauty of traditional Chinese culture and be inspired to help preserve it.
Several female reporters who worked on the frontlines in the fight against COVID-19 were also invited to the activity.
