The 127th China Import and Export Fair opened online on June 15 and will run until June 24. A total of 5,399 companies from Zhejiang province are attending the event with 11,873 booths, accounting for 19.92 percent of all booths at the fair, more than any other province in China.

This is the first time the fair has been held online.

Shu Hang, a design director at Shaoxing New Leaf Foreign Trade Co, a clothing company in Shaoxing, said the company has launched 350 new products in an effort to attract more customers.

Many companies also held live streams in multiple languages such as English, French, and Spanish.

Liu Shijian, a manager at Zhejiang Haozhonghao Healthcare Product Co, said the company invited a professional VR team to take several panoramic pictures of its plants, which customers can view at the fair.

Zhejiang companies had presented around 350,000 products as of June 15, accounting for one-fifth of all exhibits.

Several clothing companies also plan to hold fashion shows online during the event.
