Quzhou gives overseas students special tour
Recently, the 2020 overseas special activity for global young talents was held in Quzhou, East China Zhejiang province, with 236,000 people watching video and livestreaming.
A group of Quzhou's overseas students studying abroad participated in the activity and took a three-stop journey around the city.
Stop one – Quzhou Village Livestream E-commerce School
"In the past only on Douyin - the Chinese version of TikTok – could we watch livestreaming about farmers. I never expect to see the real ones today," said a participant, who was very interested in visiting the village's broadcast studios.
High technology has entered the fields, and farmers who used to have little contact with the outside world, have become famous livestreaming hosts in front of the camera.
Stop two – Southeast Digital Economic Development Institute
The overseas students paid a visit to the Southeast Digital Economic Development Institute to learn the information on the spot.
The institute is an important platform for improving the innovation level of the digital economy, integrating the application of digital technology, continuing growth of the core industries of the digital economy, and accelerating the gathering of talents in the digital economy.
Stop three – Quzhou Urban Exhibition Hall
"I have lived in Quzhou for more than 20 years, but I never really knew it that well," said a participant.
The exhibition hall is an important platform for Quzhou to display the overall image of the city and to communicate with the outside world.
