Zhejiang province recently launched a comprehensive rural reform project to promote rural revitalization. Fifteen counties and districts were selected to carry out the project, and each will receive a maximum subsidy of 60 million yuan ($8.49 million).
The fifteen places are Lin’an district and Jiande (a county-level city) in Hangzhou, Haiyan county in Jiaxing, Deqing and Changxing counties in Huzhou, Keqiao and Shangyu districts in Shaoxing, Wuyi and Pan’an counties in Jinhua, Kecheng district in Quzhou, Dinghai district in Zhoushan, Jiaojiang district and Yuhuan (a county-level city) in Taizhou, and Qingtian and Songyang counties in Lishui.
The province aims to use the project to develop several model rural revitalization villages within two years.
