The Zhejiang Commission of Development and Reform recently forwarded a notice from the National Commission of Development and Reform on ticket pricing at State-owned scenic areas and adjusted it according to the province's own circumstances.
The province will soon investigate operational costs for all overcharging or 3A-and-below level State-owned scenic areas and require them to lower ticket prices before the end of the National Day holiday.
The province will also encourage all 4A-and-above scenic areas to halve their ticket prices and partly waive accommodation and transportation fees for tourists arriving on Friday afternoons.
