The 2020 China Yiwu Imported Commodities Fair concluded on Nov 16, boosting a dual-cycle development pattern with domestic and international trade reinforcing each other.

The fair was attended by nearly 1,000 companies and covered an exhibition area of 50,000 square meters with 2,020 booths.

It featured exhibits from 78 countries and regions, 41 of which, including Russia, Poland, and Greece, are involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.

Exhibitors displayed more than 100,000 types of consumer goods, including food and drinks, handicrafts, decorations, and home furnishings.

The fair comes after Yiwu became a part of the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone in September.

Like last year, this year's fair also consisted of five themes on quality life, Asia, Europe, sister cities, and home furnishings.

Ninety-three companies that participated in the third China International Import Expo were also present at this event, compared with 26 last year.

Nearly 80,000 buyers were present at the fair, which also included a major matchmaking event attended by 58 buyers and 100 suppliers.
