An online foreigner service platform was launched in Jiaxing Economic Development Zone on Dec 3, the first in Jiaxing, local media reported.

The online platform offers foreigners in Jiaxing various services related to administrative affairs, daily life and consultation.

Administrative affairs that can be handled through the platform include work permits, entry-exit visas, commercial and civil consular certifications, and inviting foreigners to China, while daily life affairs include dining, living, traveling, shopping, study and healthcare.

On the same day, the first foreigner service station in Jiaxing was unveiled at Jindu community.

The staff members at the service station have said they will do their best to help solve problems encountered by local foreigners, promote Chinese laws and regulations, and offer comprehensive services.
