Enterprises from Taizhou, East China's Zhejiang province can now access a number of one-stop government services by scanning a QR code.

The QR code system tailored for companies has been widely applauded by local companies since it was launched in June last year.

Statistics show that a total of 229,700 businesses from the city have applied for the QR codes, with both the number of views and visitors ranking high in the province.

This year, local authorities plan to roll out the second version of the business QR codes, making it a comprehensive service platform where enterprises can learn about the latest policies and apply for preferential policies by the local government, such as exemption of tax and social security payments.

Qu Wenbin, director of the Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Economy and Informization, pointed out that digitalization has become an important part of the city's approach in optimizing its business climate and bolstering the growth of the private sector.
