Authorities in East China's Zhejiang province have released a raft of measures to ensure the transportation of essential materials, the normal operation of highway toll stations and service areas, and to stabilize the supply chains in the face of the current COVID-19 situation.

Nearly 10,000 passes have been issued to truckers transporting essential supplies. There are currently 92 general service stations and 83 epidemic prevention service stations designed specifically for trucker drivers in the province. These stations provide resting areas, catering and parking services, and spaces for antigen and nucleic acid testing.

The measures are also part of efforts to help Shanghai resume production.

Four transit stations, two for auto parts supplies and two of essential daily necessities, have been built within Zhejiang. Since April 5, 420 vehicles have transported key materials for major chemical companies in Shanghai.
