The fifth World Textile Merchandising Conference was held in Keqiao district, Shaoxing, East China's Zhejiang province, on Nov 16.

Themed "Create value worldwide through collaboration", the conference included a themed conference, a round table forum, the Keqiao fashion week, the autumn textile expo and parallel forums.

During the conference, 10 groups and individuals received awards in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the development of the China Textile City, an industrial hub for textile firms.

Two reports regarding the building of an international textile hub and the green development of China's printing and dyeing industry were released at the event.

The Global Textile Market Alliance was also founded during the conference. In the future Keqiao will carry out cooperation with eight textile market agglomerations from overseas.

Since its inception in 2018, the World Textile Merchandising Conference has always invited industrial players and experts to discuss industrial innovation and development.

This year's event featured discussions on market reconstructing and low-carbon revolution, as well as new ways of deepening international cooperation in industrial and supply chains.
