Second session of 13th Zhejiang CPPCC opens in Hangzhou
The second session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) was convened on Jan 22 in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, during which commendations were announced for 38 outstanding proposals made since the start of the first session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC.
Since the start of the first session of the 13th Zhejiang Provincial CPPCC, a total of 765 proposals have been submitted by political consultative members and participating units, with 720 cases officially registered after examination.
Among them, 39.7 percent are proposals related to people's well-being. The acknowledged 38 outstanding proposals focused on various areas, including green and low-carbon development, creating innovation hubs in agriculture, accelerating technological innovation, optimizing the business environment, modernizing grassroots governance, and promoting digital economic development.
Many of the suggestions made in these outstanding proposals have been adopted, contributing significantly to Zhejiang's endeavor in promoting common prosperity and advancing the Chinese path to modernization.
