Wucheng works to foster key industrial chains
Wucheng district in Jinhua, Zhejiang Province is actively fostering the development of its key industrial chains through a comprehensive array of measures.
These initiatives include the implementation of supportive policies for private enterprises, the attraction of high-caliber talent, and the release of action plans aimed at nurturing pivotal industrial clusters.
On Feb 20, the district successfully secured 16 major projects, representing a combined investment of 24.71 billion yuan ($3.43 billion). These projects span various fields, including new energy, new materials, commerce, logistics, and advanced equipment manufacturing.
As part of its strategic objectives, the district is committed to attracting over 10 manufacturing projects annually, each with an investment exceeding 1 billion yuan, while simultaneously nurturing a cluster of industrial projects with an output value surpassing 100 million yuan.
By 2026, the district aims to make substantial progress in establishing three key industrial chains, entailing achieving an output value of 11 billion yuan for the new energy vehicles and components industry, and surpassing the 10 billion yuan mark for both the modern hardware and new materials industries.
