The 2025 Huzhou Marathon Expo, held from Nov 6 to 8 in Huzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, featured a Robot Interaction Zone, showcasing intelligent robots as they participated in relay races, danced, played music, and made coffee.

On Nov 8, Huzhou hosted an investment matchmaking conference for embodied intelligent robots, unveiling key applications and industrial funds to foster innovation and market connections.

Strategically located in the Yangtze River Delta region, Huzhou is advancing innovation by establishing the Yangtze River Delta (Huzhou) Embodied Intelligence Industrial Park and releasing the Huzhou Artificial Intelligence High-Quality Development Three-Year Action Plan (2025–27). These initiatives aim to expand the intelligent industry, focusing on embodied intelligence.

In September, Huzhou-based Noblelift Intelligent Equipment, with Zhejiang University, introduced "Nuobao 2", an embodied intelligent chemical sampling robot for extreme chemical environments. Noblelift is venturing into intelligent logistics, partnering with Zhejiang University to accelerate research breakthroughs.

Similarly, Damon Technology Group and Huzhou Industrial Investment Development Group jointly established the Damon Embodied Intelligence Industry Fund, with an initial scale of 200 million yuan ($28.09 million), focusing on robot components and embodied intelligence technologies.

Huzhou's embodied intelligence industry intersects with sectors like bionic robots and smart logistics, attracting over 30 robotic enterprises. Recent AI projects total 37.48 billion yuan, including 6.63 billion yuan in embodied intelligence.

The Huzhou Artificial Intelligence High-Quality Development Three-Year Action Plan targets AI growth in several fields including embodied robots, smart driving, smart wearable devices, and computing power data services.

Huzhou's AI core industry revenue has reached 11.4 billion yuan, with 105 core enterprises forming a comprehensive industry value chain.
