    These rules are formulated in accordance with the Education Law of the People’s Republic of China, the Higher Education Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Entry and Exit of Aliens, for the purpose of enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the Chinese people and people of all other countries, promoting international cooperation and communication among universities and colleges, and strengthening standardized management on enrolling and training foreign students to study in China.
