The results of the first Quzhou International Garden City Photography Competition were revealed on Nov 14 in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media reports.

The three first-place winners were Sea of Clouds Among Lyuchunhu Mountain by Jie Xuehua, Beautiful Wuxi River (a group of photos) by Liu Kuan, and Courteous Quzhou by Lu Jianxiong.

A total of 66 of the 1,100 entries received awards of up to 5,000 yuan ($713,44).

The photo competition, supervised by the Publicity Department of the CPC Quzhou Municipal Party Committee, was launched on August 20 this year with the aim of further exploring the unique characteristics of Quzhou and showcasing the city's beauty.
