With the snow and ice thawing and the rainfall increasing, the flora and fauna has awakened with a vengeance in the areas surrounding Quzhou city, in East China's Zhejiang province.

On Feb 19 the average temperature of the city was 11.6C, which officially signified that spring had arrived there.
