River cruise ship takes people on special journey
The river cruise ship Virtuous Quzhou in March set sail from Hangzhou – capital city of East China's Zhejiang province – with 72 tourists on board, embarking on a four-day and three-night journey along the poetic and charming Qiantang River.
As the only water route connecting the cities of Hangzhou and Quzhou, the four-day and three-night tour brings visitors to more than 10 scenic spots along the Qiantang River. These include Tongjun Mountain, Yanziling fishing platform, Meicheng ancient town, the Longyou Grottoes, Xin'an Lake, the Temple of Southern Confucianism and Qianjiangyuan National Park.
Here are some memorable sites to visit on the route:

The caves of the Longyou Grottoes are adjacent, but are not interlinked with each other. They feature intricate carvings and have been honored as the "Ninth Wonder of the World" and "the ancient Greek shrine of China".
