Quzhou city focuses on future communities
A list of 15 future communities was recently released in three successive groups in the city of Quzhou, located in East China's Zhejiang province, according to local media reports on Nov 2.
Future communities in urban areas and future villages in rural areas are innovative residential clusters which pursue an eco-friendly and a digitalized rural lifestyle. Future villages encourage people to explore methods of development that include innovation, technology and cultural enrichment.
Quzhou officials said the nascent future communities – with their focus on harmony, green development, intelligence and communal sharing – are designed to improve the quality of life of their residents.
The city also established a team to promote the project, focusing on improving the processes, on-site and online interactions and the integration of linkages.

Luming Future Community
The site covers 100 hectares and the floor space when construction is completed will be 650,000 square meters. There will be 53 buildings in total, including 43 residential buildings, one kindergarten, two office buildings, seven commercial buildings and support facilities. [Photo/WeChat account: quzhoufb]
