Zhejiang Longyou Xinxidi Electronics Co Ltd in Quzhou, Zhejiang province recently became the city's second approved exporter under the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), local media reported on Sept 12.

Enterprises that have qualified as approved exporters can independently issue a declaration of origin, which has the same effect as a certificate issued by customs.

More than 95 percent of Xixindi's products are exported, and nearly 4 million sets of antenna products are exported to East Asia, Southeast Asia, Europe and other regions every week.

Previously, the company applied for an average of about 150 certificates of origin every year.

In the past, the journey to Malaysia and Japan was short, and the certificate could only be applied after the container was boarded, affecting customers' customs clearance and increasing the detention fee of containers, according to Guo Qunfang, sales manager of the company.

Now the company can issue certificates of origin in real time. The customs clearance of goods has been accelerated and the company's market has expanded.
