Qinghu Ancient Town located in Jiangshan, a county-level city in Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, has a history of more than 3,600 years.
It once served as the water and land transportation center of southwest Zhejiang province, a commercial center on the border of Zhejiang, Fujian and Jiangxi provinces, and an important node of the ancient Maritime Silk Road.
The ancient streets, alleys, houses and wharves with a history of thousands of years still exist in the town.
During the seven-day National Day holiday, the town received 27,000 tourists per day, generating more than 15 million yuan ($2.08 million) in consumption.
