Shuitingmen Historic, Cultural Block wins provincial recognition
Quzhou's Shuitingmen Historic and Cultural Block was among the second batch of Zhejiang provincial leisure tourism blocks designated by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and Zhejiang Provincial Department and Reform Commission.
Shuitingmen Historical and Cultural Block is located on the west side of Quzhou, covering an area of 9.37 hectares.
The block is composed of three streets and seven alleys and is home to 14 key national, provincial and municipal-level key cultural protection units and 59 historical buildings, showcasing the characteristics of western Zhejiang residential groups in the city during the Mingguo period (1912-49).
