Yang Jinliang, a 67-year-old resident of Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, won the silver medal in the men's doubles in the over-65 category with his partner Zhao Anbin at the World Veteran Table Tennis championships, which recently concluded in Oman.

Six Chinese people attended the championships and won two gold and two silver medals.

The World Veteran Table Tennis championships provided a good platform for table tennis lovers around the world to learn from each other and improve their skills, said Yang.

"I have visited more than 30 provinces in China and more than 10 countries such as the United States, Germany and New Zealand to participate in table tennis competitions. The next World Veteran Table Tennis championships will be held in July 2024 in Rome, and I will sign up again", Yang added.
