A total of 97.55 percent of industrial enterprises above designated size in the Quzhou Economic and Technological Development Zone had resumed production as of Feb 6.

Enterprises in the zone all expected many orders after the Spring Festival holiday.

Last year, the company achieved an output value of 450 million yuan ($66.37 million), a year-on-year growth of 10 percent, and the output value is expected to exceed 500 million yuan this year, said Hua Ronglin, general manager of Quzhou Yingte Polymer Material Co Ltd.

To ensure the enterprises have an adequate work force after the Spring Festival holiday, the zone's human resources and social security bureau went to Sichuan and Yunnan provinces to carry out recruitment work on Jan 26. A total of 306 people intended to come work in Quzhou.

In the first quarter, the industrial output value of the zone's above-designated-size enterprises is expected to exceed 38.5 billion yuan, up 15 percent year-on-year.
