Quzhou helps companies explore overseas markets
To give companies a better understanding of overseas markets, the Quzhou commerce bureau has formulated a catalogue of recommended exhibitions for companies, with a total of 252 key exhibitions recommended, 80 more than in 2022.
The Quzhou commerce bureau also implemented facilitation measures for the handling of exit and entry documents for companies that go abroad to participate in business negotiations or important meetings, including streamlining application materials and shortening the time it takes to apply for visas.
For those applying for a passport for business reasons, processing time will be shortened from seven to five working days, and for those facing emergency situations, the time will be shortened to three working days.
From December 2022 to January 2023, 18 companies from Quzhou explored overseas markets, bringing back a total of 710 million yuan ($102.38 million) in overseas orders.
"This year, the bureau will continue to provide more policy guarantees, better services and more exhibition guarantees for companies and help enterprises obtain more orders overseas," said an official of the Quzhou commerce bureau.
