Quzhou's online retail sales of e-commerce totaled 60.6 billion yuan ($8.73 billion) in the past year, a year-on-year increase of 20 percent, ranking in the top two in growth rate for eight consecutive years in Zhejiang province.

In recent years, Jiangshan, a county-level city of Quzhou, has launched a new e-commerce model called "craftsman anchor plus workshop livestream".

More than 50 workshop livestream rooms using the new model have been established in the city, and more than 200 craftsman anchors have been cultivated. Over 1 billion yuan in orders has been received under this model.

Local items such as wooden doors, fire-fighting equipment, badminton products and bee products have been sold to various parts of the world through livestreaming.

In addition, Zhejiang Yiwei E-commerce Co Ltd, located in Wantian township, Kecheng district, has placed livestreaming rooms in fields across the country.

The company's anchors recommend local agricultural products to consumers by livestreaming in unique places.

In a few days, the company will embark on a journey to Tibet, the original home of fresh cordyceps. Consumers can see how local people dig cordyceps sinensis, said the person in charge of the livestream base in Kecheng district. This year, the company's online sales are expected to exceed 100 million yuan.
