The ceramic work "Dragon Soaring" by Wang Jialiang, the inheritor of the Longtan Kiln ceramic firing technique in Kaihua, and He Shanshan, an arts and crafts professional in Quzhou, won the gold award in the "Baihua Cup" selection activity at the 3rd China Arts and Crafts Expo.

The work is based on the dragon totem in Chinese culture. It combines the simplicity of pottery with the delicacy of porcelain through bas-relief. It also incorporates the ancient Longtan Kiln porcelain-making techniques in Kaihua. After being pulled, repaired, engraved, and glazed, it now vividly shows a dragon soaring over mountaintops.

The China Arts and Crafts Expo is a national-level authoritative exhibition. The "Baihua Cup" award is known as the "Oscar" of China's arts and crafts industry. It is the most prestigious award in China's arts and crafts industry and the most authoritative and influential selection activity in the industry.
