Kecheng district in Quzhou, Zhejiang province is actively working towards cultivating more little giant enterprises.

A "little giant" is a company that is deemed to be profitable and exhibit excellent innovation capabilities, hold a significant market share, develop core technologies, and maintain high product quality standards.

As part of their efforts, authorities in Kecheng implemented a raft of proactive measures in 2023, including establishing a special task force to provide one-on-one services to prospective companies and holding eight training sessions for 30 enterprises.

The district is currently home to 42 enterprises above designated size, of which one is already recognized as a national-level little giant, with eight others also holding provincial little giant status.

Beide Technology Co, which was listed as a provincial little giant in 2023, has obtained 30 national patents since it was founded in 2004, including two design patents, seven invention patents, and 21 utility model patents.

Beide specializes in the development and research of fluid equipment such as fire pumps and systems and wastewater treatment equipment. Its products are sold in over 100 countries across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Europe, North America, South America, and other regions.
