The Qujiang Gymnasium in Qujiang district, Quzhou, Zhejiang province opened to the public on Jan 26, as reported by the local media.

The 27,580-square-meter facility, equipped with a central four-sided screen that allows spectators to stay updated on the game situation in real time and provides instant playbacks of game highlights, can accommodate over 3,600 spectators.

The lighting, audio, and other equipment within the venue meet the requirements set by the Asian Games for esports facilities. This meets the diverse application requirements for esports competitions, concerts, and other events in addition to hosting traditional sports events, noted Tong Qunbin, a representative of the gymnasium.

Tong added that national esports competitions, NBA All-Star invitation games, and other events will be held at the Gymnasium this year, allowing locals to enjoy these exciting events right in their own backyard.
