Quzhou's per capita disposable income rises by 6.5% in 2023
Quzhou's per capita disposable income saw a 6.5 percent increase, reaching 48,237 yuan ($6,716.57) in 2023, as reported by the Quzhou branch of the National Bureau of Statistics.
Specifically, urban residents experienced a 5.4 percent rise to 60,592 yuan, while rural residents saw an 8 percent increase to 33,993 yuan.
During the same period, per capita consumption in the city reached 29,298 yuan, marking an 8.6 percent year-on-year increase. Urban residents' per capita consumption expenditure rose by 6.9 percent to 35,962 yuan, while rural residents' expenditure increased by 11.1 percent to 21,615 yuan.
Breaking down the expenditures, spending on food, tobacco, and alcohol amounted to 7,583 yuan, housing expenses totaled 7,530 yuan, and educational and cultural expenses accounted for 4,332 yuan.
Meanwhile, transportation and communication costs were 3,852 yuan, healthcare expenditure reached 2,041 yuan, living supplies and services totaled 1,757 yuan, and clothing expenses amounted to 1,530 yuan.
