E-sports powers rural vitalization in Quzhou

The inaugural Huya Honor of Kings National Rural E-sports Games commenced in Quzhou, Zhejiang province on March 9.
The event catered to participants of all ages, including team matches for middle-aged and elderly individuals, solo contests for villagers, and an engaging audience-invited competition.
A local resident surnamed Ye, shared her excitement, saying, "I've been playing this game for years and have longed to take part in an offline event."
Jiang Rui, organizer of the event, explained the event's purpose. "We hope village games can fuse cultural creativity with every village in China. Through the e-sports industry, we aspire to inspire young people to explore and appreciate rural areas."
