Twenty high school students from Indiana and Florida participated in a cultural exchange and study program in Quzhou, Zhejiang province from June 12 to 13.

During their stay, the students visited several significant sites, including the Southern Confucian Ancestral Temple, the Chinese Confucianism Museum, the Doolittle Raid Memorial Hall, the Shuitingmen Historical and Cultural Block, the Quzhou International Go Culture Exchange Center, and Yudong village, known for its farmers' paintings.

These visits aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of Quzhou's Confucian culture, Go culture, cultural heritage, and rural vitalization initiatives.

The program also sought to deepen the participants' appreciation of the exchange and mutual learning between different civilizations and cultures, fostering more stories of friendship and cooperation between Chinese and US youths, noted a local official.

The official added that authorities will continue to play their part in fostering friendship between the Chinese and US peoples, enhance the international recognition and influence of Southern Confucian culture, and promote the global outreach of China's outstanding traditional culture.
