Quzhou in Zhejiang province has been focusing on cultivating iconic specialty industrial chains, each projected to exceed 1 billion yuan ($137.63 million) in output by 2025.

The city has already established three major specialty leading industries — pomelo, oil-tea camellia, and tea. It has also developed 12 specialty agricultural industrial chains, including for citrus, traditional Chinese medicinal herbs, vegetables, fisheries, and edible mushrooms.

Jiangshan, renowned as the hometown of white mushrooms in China, is capitalizing on the construction of its modern edible mushroom industrial park to create a comprehensive mushroom industrial complex.

The complex aims to integrate factory farming, product research and processing, tourism, mycology education, production experiences, and culinary services, thereby transforming local specialty products into attractive destinations.

In Longyou county, a single fish has similarly given rise to an entire industrial chain. By promoting the integration of the "fishery+" industry, Longyou has hosted over 60 national and commercial fishing competitions, attracting more than 200,000 visitors for leisure fishing and tourism.
