At the 6,500-square-meter facility of Zhejiang Zhengpin Weaving Company in Longyou county, Quzhou, Zhejiang province, 400 looms were steadily producing hook-and-loop fasteners on June 12.

"Our flagship product is the hook-and-loop fastener, commonly known as 'magic tape'," said Lin Youdong, general manager of Zhengpin Weaving.

As a major supplier of garment accessories, Zhengpin Weaving's products are integral to everyday life, with applications in clothing, bags, sports gear, medical supplies, and home and outdoor equipment. Domestically, their sales network spans key markets. Internationally, the company has established strong partnerships in Brazil, South Korea, Mexico, and Bangladesh.

This growth is the result of a decade of dedication in Longyou. "We now operate 400 looms with various supporting equipment, generating an annual output of 80 million yuan ($11.13 million)," Lin said.

Driven by strong orders and confidence in future prospects, the company is upgrading its capacity. It is constructing a new facility in Longyou, set to operate in 2026, increasing its loom number to 600 and integrating smart automation. This aims to boost the annual output to 200 million yuan.

Zhejiang Zhengpin Weaving Company is preparing for a future of increased capacity and intelligent upgrades.
