The basketball teams from Quzhou's six counties and districts are ready for the 2025 Zhejiang Provincial City Basketball League, with the first round of matches to start on July 12.

Known as the largest and most prestigious amateur basketball event in the province, the "ZheBA" league will run from July 2025 to February 2026 across Zhejiang. The competition includes preliminary rounds and a City Championship. Preliminary rounds in each city will conclude by July 2025, with the City Championship to start on Aug 8.

In the city of Quzhou, the excitement is palpable. The first phase of preliminary rounds will take place every Saturday and Sunday evening at 7:30 pm from July 12 to July 26, across sports venues in its six counties and districts.

Following a round-robin format, 15 thrilling matches will take place over five match days. The champion team from Quzhou's counties and districts will join a city-level joint team to represent Quzhou in the City Championship.

On the opening night of July 12, the team from Jiangshan county-level city will face Changshan county, the team from Kecheng district will compete against Longyou county, and the team from Kaihua county will battle Qujiang district.
