In Hengshan town, located in Longyou county, Quzhou, East China's Zhejiang province, Zhejiang Jiemei Daily Necessities' workshop was bustling with activity on Oct 11, as workers prepared cleaning products for international markets.

From traditional cotton mops to modern innovations like self-wringing and spray mops, Jiemei has consistently led in product innovation.

According to Chairman Li Jinjiang, Jiemei's products meet the ISO 14001 standard for environmental management systems developed by the International Organization for Standardization, the ISO 9001 standard for quality management, and Business Supply Chain Initiative standards.

Jiemei plans to launch a foldable mop to make the product smaller, reducing transport costs, according to Li.

Overseas demand has significantly boosted production. "We produce four to five different types of products daily, with 60,000 to 70,000 brush molds weekly and over 20,000 mop sets daily," said technical manager Tao Yanbin.

The company has expanded its injection molding machines by 80 percent, increased capacity by 70 percent, and grown its workforce by 50 percent.

Jiemei has established a comprehensive production chain, exporting to Southeast Asia, Europe, and Africa. As of September, its output value had exceeded 54 million yuan ($7.58 million).
