Yiwu Railway Station will launch two new high-speed trains to Shanghai Hongqiao Station, local media reported on Oct 10.

The new trains, G9315 and G9316, will stop by stations including Jiaxingnan, Hangzhoudong, Hainingxi, and Jiashannan.

Currently, more than 20,000 foreigners from over 100 countries and regions live in Yiwu. In addition, about half-a-million more visit and make purchases in Yiwu each year, according to data released by the city government.

The trains will create more convenience for those that need to travel between Yiwu and Shanghai.

To date, Yiwu Railway Station operates 313 trains, including 200 high-speed ones.
