"We were immediately stunned by the high quality of the small commodities," said Masuda Ken, a Japanese reporter who joined a foreign media tour to Yiwu International Trade Market on Oct 13.
The group consists of about 70 members of the media from Zhejiang province's international friendly cities.
"The trade market is so huge that I need at least two days to explore it," said He Liping from Malaysia, "It's full of business opportunities and you can find almost anything you could possibly think of."
The Yiwu International Trade Market, with 75,000 booths in a business area of 5.5 million square meters, is the epicenter of the world's largest trading hub for small commodities. And it attracts hundreds of thousands of sellers and buyers every day.
Aiming to promote communication between Zhejiang and its friendly cities, the media group will continue on to explore other cities in Zhejiang, including Hangzhou, Wuzhen, Ningbo, Pujiang, and Shaoxing.
