Binwang Middle School in Yiwu, Zhejiang province, is named after Luo Binwang, a famous Chinese poet of the Tang Dynasty (618-907). The school, which is well laid-out and boasts advanced facilities and a beautiful environment, is a garden-like boarding junior high school.
Founded in 1993, the school is situated on over 8 hectares and covers a combined floor area of 51,581 square meters. With development over two decades, it now has 48 classes, over 230 staff members, and more than 2,400 students. Its quality of education has ranked top in the city for many years, and it has won more than 100 honorary titles such as one of China’s Top 100 Featured Schools, National Experimental School for Self-education, National Advanced School for Sports, and Zhejiang Provincial Incubation Base for Scientific Research on Education.
